Crystal Melamine

Basic Information

The chemical formula of melamine is C3H6N6. Melamine is an organic base chemical most commonly found in the form of white crystals rich in nitrogen that smells like ammonia. Melamine is combined with formaldehyde to produce melamine resin, a very durable thermosetting plastic used in Formica, melamine dinnerware, laminate flooring and dry erase boards.
